Postcard from First Church Summer Intern

Students at Latino Network’s Summer Academia program paint the first layer of a mural depicting Latino culture. The Summer Academia program, located in Rockwood, provides cultural and educational workshops in addition to mentor support for Latino gang-affected and adjudicated youth involved in Community Healing Initiative (CHI), a program partnership with Multnomah County.

Latino Network is a nonprofit that provides transformative opportunities and advocacy for the education, leadership and civic engagement of Latino youth and families in Multnomah County.

Hear the full stories of our summer interns at the Intern Forum, at noon on Sunday August 19th, in the Fireside Room.
