Thanks to many of you who have stepped up to volunteer to teach Sunday school this year.
We still need 3 volunteers to teach in First Grade.
We do have one full team, and one volunteer who needs a partner. Even if you can only commit to teaching one month, your help is appreciated!

Yeeeeehaw! Back in the Saddle!
Come and celebrate children’s choirs starting, a return to Sunday school classes, and a great big gathering of your favorite friends and family. Wear your western style to this roundup of church goers, and come to kick off another year of great fun!
Then join the church for a congregational meeting in the Fireside Room.
We will be approving our strategic plan!!

Pricing is as follows:
$86-Adult

Age 2 and under are free!
Scholarships are available! If cost is at all an issue, please don’t hesitate to contact me to talk about a camper scholarship! We want everyone to be able to participate!
We will meet on Friday, September 28 at 7 p.m. for an evening of activity and getting acquainted. On Saturday we will have activities like: a dune hike, silk painting, bottle cap crafts, labyrinth walk, variety show, campfire, and dancing. We will also have Goofy Olympics, so bring all your sillies!
Sunday morning will have worship and breakfast and we should be heading home by 10.
PDX Paper Crafters Group to Start at FUMC
This is a group of people who enjoy working in a group atmosphere on projects including card making, scrapbooking, and other paper creations. This will be a group open to beginners and experienced papercrafters alike. We seek to find community in a creative setting! The launch party will be on Thursday, September 20 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 202.

Acolyte Training
We will have an acolyte training on September 23, starting during Sunday school for 2nd-5th graders. Training will begin in the classrooms, and then we will meet parents in the Sanctuary after worship for a rehearsal and date sign ups.
