Young Adults and Young Families Combined Sunday School Class for September!
The 20-Somethings and The Gathering classes are meeting together in room 204 at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday this month. We are holding this combined class so Rev. Donna can teach “The Essential Enneagram for Life and Faith” for a few weeks. While it sounds like just a personality test, Rev. Super Sunday is a fun evening activity time for kids and an opportunity for parents to fellowship together.
Children participate in planned activities at the church, hosted by Megan and other volunteers, while parents have dinner together at a restaurant of their choosing. Nursery is provided. Sign up today! Reply to this email or sign up next to Megan’s door on Sunday morning.
Safe Sanctuaries Training for Sunday School Teachers and Volunteers
Sunday, October 6th
Per our program requirements, all Sunday School teachers are required to attend a Safe Sanctuaries training once a year. We offered one in August, and our backup one is the first Sunday in October. We will meet at 12 noon in Room 202. Teachers who did not attend the August training are expected to attend, and any other adults (including parents) are welcome to attend to learn more about how FUMC addresses child safety. Questions? Family Friendly Hike to Tualatin Hills Park in Beaverton

Assistance with Lawn Care Needed
One of our senior church members living in NE Portland needs some assistance maintaining her lawn. If you are able to contribute some time and energy to mowing, pruning, etc. please contact Megan or the church office for details.

Students can leave donations in their Sunday School classrooms or the barrels looked in the Narthex.
