The Cambodia UMVIM Team will meet at 12 noon on Sunday, November 10, in room 160 to discuss logistics pertaining to the pending trip. A few spaces are still available for the trip. The trip is scheduled for February 7-18, 2014. Anyone who is interested is invited to attend this meeting.
The work that the team will do will be determined by the interests and abilities of team members, who are asked to take a leap of faith and wait for God (and the UMVIM coordinator in Phnom Penh!) to tell us what we will be doing.
In addition to the work that the team will do in Phnom Penh, the team will also travel to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat, the famed World Heritage temple complex. They will also visit the “Killing Fields” memorial and one of Phnom Penh’s famed markets.
The estimated cost of the trip will be about $2,600, with the exact cost to be determined based upon the number of participants and the cost of airfare. Costs will include flights, meals, housing, project fees, insurance and sightseeing. Registration forms will be available at the November 10 meeting.
