Sunday – God’s holy day!
Breakfast and then took our faithful bus to the Holy Mountain Methodist Church for a Sunday service. There was a small band playing as we arrived. The service began at 8:50 with songs of praise. Linda gave a short sermon on Ruth, which was followed by personal testimonies and various groups singing, including our team’s rendition of “He’s Got The Whole World in His Hands.” We ended up with everyone in a huge circle with hands clasped in prayers.
Then it was off to Siem Reap at 12 noon. Clara went with us. The countryside was lovely, with many Buddhist shrines and lovely arches marking cross roads and Buddhist temples! The road was very rough, with lots of areas to jar our bones! God was with us and there were no flat tires! We got into Siem Reap at 7:30 and checked into a lovely hotel, where we had dinner and called it a night!
