Stephen Ministry invites anyone at FUMC to attend an information meeting about suicide prevention, Tuesday, December 17, 7:00 to 8:00 in Room 160. Morgan Leets, training coordinator for Lines for Life, will answer questions about suicide, such as: What signs that a person is contemplating suicide can you watch for?
On Tuesday, November 19th, a group from First Church visited Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in NE Portland. While there, our members helped fill food boxes for distribution, had a small service and were treated to a special lunch. The group also visited Vancouver Ave. First Baptist Church in NE
