THIS Sunday, July 1
Welcome the Rev. Jeremy Smith to FUMC!!
Come say hi at Children’s Time!
10:30 a.m. Worship & Communion Sunday
Summer Sunday School for Kids of all ages in Room 134.
Communion and Summer Sunday School
This coming Sunday is a Communion service.
Here at FUMC, all are welcome to receive communion.
During the summer, we bring all kids in to the sanctuary to receive communion.
If you child has not taken communion as a part of Sunday school class before, you may want to come to the classroom before the Great Thanksgiving portion of the worship and either accompany your child to communion or stay with them in the room if you would like to wait.
Summer Plans
I have had a few parents ask about Vacation Bible School, or alternative child care programs for kids, and it has left me wondering…what do your kids do during the week in summer?
Are there programs you like to send them to? Other churches VBS that you like?
Summer day camps or sleep away camps?
Do you hire a summer nanny?
Do you take the summers off?
Inquiring minds want to know!
And some parents are interested in learning about other options for kids.
Reply to this email with your responses.
Many thanks!!!
Summer Camp
Don’t forget to go to gocamping.org to sign your child up for a summer camp!
I’ll be at Magruder for 3-5th grade camp from July 15-20 or from August 23-26 for 1-2nd grade camp.
