Music Opportunities for Adults
The Chancel Choir sings for Sunday morning worship services. Directed by Erick Lichte (pronounced Light), it rehearses on Thursday evenings in the Sanctuary from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. All are welcome to sing in this volunteer choir.
The Sanctuary Bell Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings in Room 202 from 6:30 – 9:30 pm. They provide music for worship at FUMC several times a year, playing 5 (and sometimes 6) octaves of Schulmerich Handbells. The only requirement for membership in Sanctuary Bells is the ability to read music. Beyond that, anyone who desires to learn, and will make a personal commitment to regular attendance, is encouraged to participate.
Music Opportunities for Children and Youth
The Cherub Choir, directed by Nancy Nordwall, is for children in kindergarten through 2nd grade . This choir meets on Sunday mornings in Room 206 from 9:30 – 10:15. The will sing on:
- October 19, November 22, and December 21
The Sound Seekers Choir is directed by Ronnee Edwards. All children in grades 3 – 6 are welcome. This choir rehearses on Sunday mornings in Room 130 from 9:30 – 10:15. They will sing on:
- October 5 and December 21
juBELLation, directed by Karin McDonough, is the youth/young adult handbell choir. They rehearse on Sunday mornings after church in Room 130.
Genesis, also directed by Karin, is for beginning handbell players and meets on Sunday mornings after church in room 130.

Directed by Kendra Friar, this choir is for children in Kindergarten through Second Grade.
