Friends,
I am grateful for each and every one of you and for your outpouring of love and support on the occasion of my ordination. Last Friday’s service was the culmination of a journey that first started when I first felt and heard God’s call to ordained ministry when I was in high school. (It takes a long time to be ordained in The United Methodist Church!)
The ordination service always takes place during annual conference, and it was a great joy and privilege to share our sanctuary, our staff, and our hospitality with the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference for last week’s services and sessions. I was delighted to be ordained in such a special place and join in worship with so many familiar faces.
Thank you to those of you who watched or attended the service in person. I will always remember that day.
I look forward to continuing to serve among you as one of your pastors, now as an elder in full connection to The United Methodist Church.
Blessings!
Ethan
