Women's Retreat

Finding Our Way Home: Self, Community, Faith

For all Women of First UMC, Portland

Our theme speaks to the disruption, confusion and frustrations brought about by COVID. Our lives, our communities, and our faith has had many challenging hours and days during the last two years. Disruptions that at times have left us confused and wondering what the heck was going to happen next! This retreat will be a time to explore where we are, where we wish to be and how creativity can help us find new ways of living in our changed world. Our activities of exploration will include SoulCollage®, Neurographic Art and Finger Labyrinths to “Find our Way Home” in this changed world. We are including a poem by Joyce Rupp for your prayerful contemplation before we gather together.
