Next Big Things are Chosen!
From the Pastor
At our congregational meeting October 20th, over 200 people voted to share their time and/or their money in ways that led us to approve 3 priority projects for our “Next Big Things”:
1- Supporting foster children by offering a monthly “Foster Parents Night Out”
2- Hosting and providing volunteer support for Lift Urban Portland’s Food Pantry, caring for low income residents in our neighborhood
3- Providing overnight shelter for houseless Portland State University students
Now the work begins in earnest to bring each of these projects “online” in the next few months. If you would like to help give one of the pastors a call and we’ll be happy to connect you to the right team.
