The Preston’s Food Pantry is a partnership between First Church and Lift Urban Portland, whose mission to reduce hunger and improve the lives of lower income residents in the Downtown Portland area.
Pantry visitors from the 97201, 97204, 97205, 97209, 97210 may visit this shopping-style pantry twice a month and select from fresh produce, yogurt and dairy, dry and canned goods, meat, and eggs. For income guidelines, please click here.
The Preston’s Pantry is open every Tuesday (appointment only), Thursday, and Friday from 3 pm – 6 pm. For Thursdays and Fridays, we ask all guests not to arrive until after 2:30 pm. Arriving earlier will not guarantee you an earlier spot in line as you will be assigned a random number lottery.
Tuesdays are for people with disabilities or over the age of 60 and requires an appointment. To make an appointment please call 503-221-1224.
You can make a financial donation via a debit or credit card, or electronic bank transfer securely online. You can set recurring or one-time payments.
