“Will you come and follow me, if I but call your name?” The words echo joyfully from the first verse in the hymn, “The Summons,” but they echo even more loudly and boldly from the voice of Jesus throughout the Gospels. These are the first words asked of those first disciples and they continue to be asked of us to this day. Join us throughout the month of July as we dig into this hymn, a favorite of our new senior pastor, Rev. Karyn Richards-Kuan.
