Megan has been on staff at First Church since January 2013.  She is originally from Waynesville, North Carolina. Megan holds a Master of Social Work from Baylor University, and a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary. Before coming to First Church, Megan served in churches in North Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee in the areas of children, youth, and college ministry. She has a heart for the local community, missions, and the importance of empowering families to maintain strong family bonds. She enjoys spending time outside and hiking, a warm cup of coffee, and exploring Portland.
