It’s happening! The PSU Landing at FUMC r is scheduled to open its doors at at First Church to house insecure students this winter. A considerable amount of preliminary work to apply for and attain the insurance policy has been completed. We are currently creating a budget as well as assembling the Shelter Board with member representation from FUMC, PSU, and the Portland community. 

There is a lot of prep work to do and a bunch of supplies to purchase in the coming weeks but we are making progress! Make a financial contribution to the effort today! 

Checks can be made out to First United Methodist Church and mailed to the church office at 1838 SW Jefferson St, Portland OR 97201 with “FUMC/PSU Shelter” in the memo line.
