Donations Wanted for upcoming Book Sale

First Church Library is accepting book donations for its fund-raising used book sale on February 19.

They are acceptting fiction and non-fiction books in good condition for adults and children; audiobooks, music CDs, DVDs and LPs.  Most of the participants in our book sales are members of the First Church family.  Based on past experience, there is little interest in condensed books (e.g., Reader’s Digest condensed novels), old textbooks, out-of-date computer software manuals, or multi-volume reference sets like encyclopedias or Bible commentaries.  If you have questions about whether your items might be suitable for our sales, please ask one of the library volunteers.  Book donations can be dropped off on Sundays in the library or brought during the week by making arrangements with the front office.

All proceeds from the book sale benefit SMART Reading / The Children’s Book Bank and First Church Library. If you’re interested in helping out, and getting an early preview of books, visit the Library on Sunday to inquire, but they typically work Mondays from 10 am – 12 pm.
