Welcome to Two New Congregational Care Staff

Your Staff Parish Relations Committee is excited to share that Brenda Jacob and Rev. Lowell Greathouse began their staff roles in congregational care this week on May 1.
A few weeks ago, we shared the news about Pastor Lowell’s appointment as Pastor of Congregational Care. We are excited to have Brenda Jacob join his team as the Coordinator of Congregational Care.
Brenda is a Portland native and has been a member of First Church for over 10 years. As a healthcare professional, she comes to us with a heart for serving our community. We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the ways she will support and uplift our congregation.
As Congregational Care Coordinator, Brenda will work closely with our pastors to ensure that our members receive the spiritual and emotional care they need during times of difficulty and celebration.
We encourage you to join us in welcoming Brenda and look forward to seeing the ways she will help us grow in faith and love.
