You Asked for It!
August will be our “You Asked For It” month, when Ethan and Donna will tackle sermon topics suggested by the congregation. We will also be singing favorite hymns because “You Asked For It!”
• August 2 – “For Better or Worse” – maintaining healthy relationships in a time of pandemic (Communion will be shared)
• August 9 – “Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service, Witness – Will We?” – our membership vows as United Methodists
• August 16 – “It’s God’s Garden!” – caring for Creation as a response to God’s gifts (we will be celebrating “Camp Sunday” with a bit more informal worship this day)
• August 23 – “In God We Trust… Really?” – Trusting God and the tension between saving and giving
• August 30 – “At Peace with All People – Even in the Comments Section” – The need for civility in civil discourse; how do we deal with differences of opinion
