Not sure what you want to read? Check the bulletin boards outside of the library for seasonal recommendations. With almost 3,500 books in the library, there’s bound to be something that interests you. Once you find a book that you like, you can check it out of the library for three weeks.
In addition to sections for children and young readers, the library also has an extensive collection of books for adults. Topics include Bible commentaries and references, fiction, biography, comparative religion, and more.
-
Twice a year, the library hosts used book sales in Collins Hall, with proceeds supporting the FUMC library and local book-related non-profits (most recently Street Books). Keep an eye on the weekly announcements for book sale dates and information on how to donate your used books.

If you’re interested in volunteering in the library (and getting an early preview of books!) visit the library on Sundays to inquire. Library volunteers typically work Mondays from 10 am – 12 pm.
